World Guesser (operated by World Guesser) is a free online geography guessing game. We take your privacy seriously — which is why we designed the game to work without any personal information for guest players.

1. What We Collect

If you play as a guest (no account):

• Nothing. No email, no name, no account.
• Your game scores are stored temporarily in your browser's local storage and are not sent to our servers.
• We do not track you across sessions.

If you create an optional free account (Google Sign-In or email):

• Your email address (used only as your account identifier).
• A username you choose, displayed publicly on the leaderboard.
• Your game scores, game history, and any custom maps you create.
• Optional profile settings (country flag, preferred language).

Technical data automatically logged:

• IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps — used for security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics.
• Anonymous, aggregate usage statistics via Google Analytics (IP anonymization enabled).

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• No real names, addresses, phone numbers, or government IDs.
• No precise GPS location, microphone, camera, or contacts access.
• No payment information — World Guesser is free and has no paid tiers.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for their own use.

• To run the game — authenticate logins, save progress, display leaderboards.
• To keep the Service safe — moderation, abuse prevention, rate-limiting.
• To improve the game — anonymous analytics.
• That's it. No marketing emails, no profile building, no data mining.

World Guesser uses minimal cookies:

• Essential cookies: Cloudflare security cookies, session cookie (if you are logged in).
• Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies for anonymous tracking. You can opt out via theGoogle Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
• No advertising cookies. We do not run ads that require tracking cookies.

You can play the entire game as a guest with all cookies disabled except Cloudflare's essential security cookies.

6. Children's Privacy

World Guesser is family-friendly and can be played entirely as a guest with no account.

Account creation requires you to be at least 13 years old.Users under 13 should play as guests or use the Service under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

Parents or guardians can request deletion of a child's data at any time by emailing us from the address below.

7. Data Retention

• Guest play data (local storage) is cleared when you clear your browser cache — we never receive it.
• Account data is kept while your account is active. If you have not logged in for 24 consecutive months, we may delete your account and associated data.
• Server logs are rotated within 90 days.
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (right to be forgotten).
• Port your data to another service.
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

To exercise any of these rights, email us from the email address associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days.

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit. Our collected data is minimal by design — there is little to expose. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow standard industry practices.
